My name is Richard Lansdowne, I am currently developing a workshop for educators and play workers.

In addition I am exploring the development of peer education youth programs with game design as a central component.

Design Activities

I have been designing games as a hobby for many years. My design interests tend toward abstract board games and game frameworks for younger plasyers.

Who I Am

My formal education is in accounting and philosophy and I have been working as a fiscal officer in non-profit agencies for the past twelve years.

My interest in games and play, as with many people, extends back as far as I can remember. As a more focused effort, I began to design games in which the game logic is a central feature of play about a decade ago when I faced the challenge of creating  a game in which someone who did not like being competitive could play and win.
